I am Matt, a product designer who loves nothing more than helping to get the next DTC product flying. Since 2012 I have been working on products that, although have a big digital footprint, delivery lots of offline value to the customer.
Currently freelancing, I have been fortunate enough to work at awesome companies such as Mindful Chef, Bean & Ground, HeadBox, and most recently Manual.
Bean & Ground was one of the first freshly roasted coffee DTC plays in the UK. I founded, designed, and built almost all of the product from packaging through to the website and emails.
At Mindful Chef I was the first digital product hire, responsible for migrating them from a Shopify MVP to a fully bespoke digital platform that made room for them to scale. Today they are one of the fastest growing recipe box delivery companies in the UK.
More recently at Manual I led a product team in building a high-growth conversion funnel in the male wellness space. In a health vertical that is constrained with regulation, our designs helped supercharge customer acquisition whilst improving longer term retention metrics.
In a previous life I ran digital advertising campaigns for the likes of ITV, Orange, Three Mobile, and Virgin Money. These years gave me a fundamental respect for the importance of data analytics and the full acquisition-2-activation user experience funnels.
